In 1953, Mr André Dupont, the son of Mr Simon Tissot Dupont, created the brand's first ladies' handbag, the Riviera, for Audrey Hepburn. The bag was presented as a limited edition and featured a secret compartment. Like the original icon, the updated Riviera also features a secret pocket hidden in the lining of the bag, secured by a ‘lighter lock’ adorned with the brand's iconic guilloché diamond head. The new Riviera Stripe version reinvents this classic with leather stripes inspired by the guilloché pattern of S.T. Dupont lighters, giving it a contemporary rock attitude. The stripes create a striking effect, making this bag an everyday essential. Made in Italy, this bag combines soft, smooth full-grain calf leather on the outside with a full-grain cowhide lining.
